About Us

Welcome to Fusion Arts Academy! We are a professional Dance, Acrobatic & Music Academy based in the beautiful grounds of the Osborne Estate on the Isle of Wight.

Our studios are in Queen Victorias former Stable Block and are fully equipped with semi sprung floors, mirrors and pianos. We have two dance studios plus a third store / music room and a private changing area for students.

We have plenty of free parking and are on bus routes 4 and 5. Our experienced teaching faculty is of the highest calibre and are all qualified teachers and ex professional performers who are dedicated to helping every student reach their full potential. From time to time, we also invite professional West End performers and Choreographers to our studios to run bespoke workshops for our students.

We pride ourselves on being a happy, inclusive school and create a comfortable environment for all students to thrive. 

Classes & opportunities we offer

Ballet (ATOD, IDTA & RAD), Jazz Moves, Tap, Acrobatics (Dance Gymnastics), Musical Theatre, Lyrical and Hip Hop. We have a Pre-Level Class for children aged 3 to 5.5. This is a great class for little ones – we work on spatial awareness and coordination, and it offers a solid foundation to explore all dance genres once they’re old enough to differentiate between the various styles and techniques required for each discipline.

In addition to our syllabus classes, we add in Flexibility and PBT classes when they’re required and have a Festival Crew for students that we feel are ready to participate in competitions. Our students are successful in reaching the All England Dance Competition Finals with solos, duets, trios and groups in all disciplines and we are very proud that our academy has a reputation for being a friendly, sociable and supportive team at these events. We are incredibly grateful to Wightlink in the Community for their continued support with sponsorship for our students with cross solent travel.

Fusion Arts is proud to be an affiliated studio of I-PATH Talent Agency, a premier agency known for representing a diverse roster of children and adults in stage and screen productions. Led by a dedicated team of experienced agents, I-PATH is committed to nurturing and promoting exceptional talent.

We are committed to helping your child thrive and reach their full potential throughout their time training with us. We have had many success stories over the years with students appearing in professional touring productions of Chitty Bang Bang, the King & I and South Pacific at the Mayflower Theatre and in West End shows such as Dream Girls, Hairspray, the Bodyguard and Mean Girls. We also have a student who has gone on to become a successful Music Producer and DJ!

Fusion Arts Academy offer bespoke 1:1 training in Piano and Violin. Lessons are suitable for children and adults of all ages. We are a Registered Centre for LCM (London College of Music) Examinations and hold regular exam sessions on site each year for those who want to pursue this route. UCAS points can be attained between grades 6-8.

My three children have been taking piano lessons with Jo for 8 months. They were a bit reluctant at the beginning as they were changing teacher but Jo quickly rallied them round thanks to her kindness and warmth.
